Eight decades ago, in the first years after the end of the Second Imperialist War, the most predatory and war-mongering section of the victorious bourgeoisie, a section that had a significant advantage in terms of capital volume, competitive power, share in international surplus value, and extensive influence in the courts of government in Europe and America, after a century of planning, determined to implement the dark scenario of establishing the State of Israel. In the century leading up to the realization of this goal, the Zionist bourgeoisie carried out (1948) about 30 widespread bloodbaths of the type “Haifa”, “Al-Amoud”, “Beldal-Sheikh”, “Al-Saraya Arabiya”, Sheikh Brak, Sa’sa, Sha’ar Abbas, Qalunya, Dir-Yassin, Beit Drass, and Tantura, in each of which it killed tens, hundreds, or several hundred Palestinian workers and laborers, and left thousands, thousands, of women and children hungry and homeless. The shadow of any level of security for human life was cast over. With this record, the genocidal Zionist bourgeoisie, seeking international support from the Western bloc governments and no less, the Eastern pole of capital, the “Soviet camp”, prepared to implement the final phase of the scenario. The huge financial, industrial, and banking giants of the world did not limit themselves to their war machine, global economic power, and their roaring military and nuclear arsenals to realize their sinister plan, but set out to make the fetishist savagery, thought engineering, and de-consciousness of the capitalist octopus’s system a mechanism of victory. They instilled in the minds of people everywhere that the history of human life has only been the history of burning a handful of Jews!! Whatever happened was the displacement, homelessness, statelessness, and statelessness of the Jews!! All 90 million people killed in the imperialist war were Jews!! They were killed “for their religious beliefs”!!, a world war was launched against the Jewish people!!, the past of the world was like this, humanity must rise up, from the lap of a great, stormy resurrection, give birth to a special Jewish state. The Jews become a nation, the Jewish nation becomes a state, the promise of Moses and Abraham the Prophet of the worlds is overwhelmed with the blessing of its fulfillment!! The state of Israel is created, the “watchtower of civilization over barbarism”!! It rises to the sky and becomes what has happened to tens of millions of workers, inferiors, cursed Palestinians, Arabs since 1938. The most disgusting part of the scenario was that the flag-bearers of the creation of Israel and the Holocaust-making bourgeoisie involved in the establishment of the new state had done exactly the same to generation after generation of exploited, inferior Jews as they were doing to the masses of workers, refugees, cursed Palestinians, Arabs! What had no place for Arabs here were “Jews”!! The ones who were hung up on Judaism, and what made the scenario top and bottom was the need of the most ferocious, most war-mongering section of the world bourgeoisie to establish an octopus under the name of the state of Israel. This state emerged and its survival depended on the uninterrupted continuation of subsequent genocides. The bloodbaths of Qabiyyah 1953, Gaza 1955, Kafr Qasem and Khan Yunis 1956, Abu Zabal 1970, Sidon 1980, Sabra and Shatila 1982, the First Intifada, the massacre of the Temple Mount, Qana, the Second and Third Intifadas, and finally the current two-year Holocaust with over a hundred thousand dead, tens of thousands of children turned to ashes, and the entire Gaza razed to the ground, were only part of the costs of the survival of this humanity-destroying octopus created by global capitalism. Our discussion in these few lines is certainly not an explanation of the chain of genocides, the barbarities of the ruling beasts of Israel, America, and Europe in imposing these disasters on the Palestinian working masses. It is the nature of capital to do so. To expect anything else from capitalism is delusion, stupidity, and sheer insanity. What is the real siren of the speech, the core of our emphasis, is the misguidance of the accursed Palestinian workers during the seventy years of bloody campaign, the storm that they have waged against the genocide, destructive wars, holocausts of Israel, and global capitalism. In these eight decades, several million workers have taken a path and adopted approaches that have not led to victory. The 80-year campaigns took place in the era of capitalist domination and rule. The octopus that founded the state of Israel was the genocidal system of capitalism. Billions of tons of bombs have been dropped by the bombers of global capital on the heads of Palestinian workers. A flood of blood has been unleashed by the missile arsenals of the bourgeoisie of America, Europe, and the world. On the other side of the story, the Palestinian working masses, in the face of this global capitalist onslaught, instead of turning to international allies, seeking help from the global labour movement, and shouting at the silent working masses of the world, have dressed up as infantrymen of the right and left bourgeois oppositions within the four walls of nationalism, preparing a war to establish a “Palestinian bourgeois state.” Instead of organizing itself as a labour, anti-capitalist organization, establishing the backbone of a flaming movement against wage slavery, turning work, and production into a battlefield against capital, against the predatory Israeli state, and against global Holocaust-making capitalism, instead of uniting the ranks of Israeli workers with itself and extending a hand of support and solidarity to Arab, Turkish, and Kurdish workers in the Middle East and the world, instead of these actions.
They have their eyes set on the help of the same governments that created the Holocaust, have been complicit in the Madrid Conference, have waited for the miracle of Oslo, have pledged allegiance to the autonomous government, and have joined the Hamas reaction. Step by step, they have become more worn out, more lenient, and have endured the capitalist genocide on more rebellious dimensions. Instead of learning lessons, avoiding misguidance, it has become a path to more terrifying darkness, spreading the tent of vows and needs before the most reactionary forces. The working masses of Palestine have gone through this 80-year campaign in conditions and an era when nationalist anti-occupation, the creation of a “national” state, not only did not untie the knot of darkness, but only tightened the noose of genocide, hunger, displacement, and the capitalist holocaust around their necks. This situation has continued and is getting worse every day. Under the pressure of this misguided, continuous capital hanging, the current 20-month anti-genocide movement on the streets of cities around the world has also failed to take any fundamental steps in favor of the liberation movement of the Palestinian working masses, against the ongoing holocaust of the capitalist system in Gaza. All that is happening in Palestine is war, massacre, bombing, destruction of capitalism, carried out by the ruling beasts of Israel, America, and Europe. It is the global bourgeoisie that has used its economic, political, militaristic, and nuclear power against the most cursed, most oppressed section of the working class. The challenge to this power, to any extent and at any level, has been made only by the workers of the world. It is the global working class that can enter the field, stop the cycle of work and production from turning, and challenge the economic, political, civil, and social order of capitalism. To the extent that this is done, even on the smallest scale, it will shake the whole of capitalism, all governments, and the ruling beasts of global capital. If a window is to be opened for the liberation of Palestinian workers, if genocide, bombing, destruction, and displacement are to be reduced, the working masses of the world must be shouted at, called upon to rise up, and to carry out the tradition of workers’ liberation. The anti-genocide movement and the herald of support for the millions of massacred, starving, and displaced Palestinians must also take the path to the homes and workplaces of the working masses. Wandering the streets, protesting the massacres, hanging pictures of murdered children on walls, writing slogans, and marching are undoubtedly necessary, urgent, and important, but all of this, in the absence of such a direction, such a role-playing, in the absence of a fundamental effort to convince the workers of the world to take a strong stand against capitalism, against the Holocaust-creating system of wage slavery, is to pound water in a mortar, to wear ourselves out. Let us make the 77th anniversary of “Nakba Day” the day of the beginning of this effort and campaign.
