The invasion of the warmongering and genocidal armies of the United States and Israel on Iran and their 40-day war with the predatory Islamic capitalist regime did not only take the lives of thousands of children, old people, young people, women, and men of the working class. It did not only destroy a large number of schools, hospitals, residential areas, bridges, roads, factories, ports, farms, and refineries, the fruits of the labour of several generations of the working class. Along with all these killings and destruction, it also dealt the most devastating blow to the body of the day’s campaign of the working masses. A crushing blow whose initial part was mysterious in the darkness of deception and remained out of everyone’s sight. The story begins in the turbulent days of January 2026. When the struggles of many years and months of employed and retired workers in work centres, street gatherings, and nationwide uprisings to fulfil the most basic demands for livelihood were exploding behind the steel-clad impasse. An explosion that, on the one hand, the Islamic octopus regime of capital was monitoring with all its might and preparing for its brutal and bloody suppression, while on the other hand, Israel, America, especially the former, with the help of all the terrible espionage, infiltration, and digital systems, trained mercenaries, and hated royalist thugs, were also investigating its events, planning, preparing, and getting ready for any crime to seize and ride its surging waves. The events of January 1404, like thousands of other uprisings in the last hundred years of history, were a demonstration of the burning anger and molten strength of the working and subordinate masses under the pressure of intense exploitation, poverty, hunger, homelessness, executions, all forms of apartheid, deprivation of livelihood, medical care, and environmental disasters born of capitalism.
There is nothing to say here. It is also quite obvious that the greatest, most glorious, most stormy, most violent workers’ uprisings, as long as they are not a manifestation of the conscious, organized, soviet, planned rise and struggle of the working masses against the system of wage slavery, are always and everywhere exposed to the expropriation of this or that opposition within the capitalist class and to playing the role of the infantry in the transfer of power from one section of the bourgeoisie to another. So far, it is clear. The present discussion, with certainty in these assumptions, finds it necessary to review the Dey uprising again and follows this review with an emphasis on a bitter reality. The fact that the Dey uprising, while being, as always, a volcano of intense exploitation, oppression, deprivation, explosive discrimination and other evils born of the capitalist system, was, unlike the events after 2009, in contrast to the workers’ uprisings of Dey 2017, Aban 2019, the struggles of 2018 and similar cases, was not led by the working masses themselves. The disaffected domestic bourgeoisie, the predatory Israeli nonsocialists, the American fascist warmongers, and the royalist thugs played a serious role in controlling, “guiding,” and determining its course, and were already prepared to exert influence. These governments, forces, within the framework of natural disputes within the bourgeoisie, have long been trying to confiscate the labour movement openly or covertly, to make it as mysterious as possible by settling accounts with the opponent, they went all the way, with “I and you”, “Iran International”, the voice of America… they brainwashed and engineered the minds of the youth, the basic Achilles heel of labour struggles, the fossilization of workers in reformism, democracy, civil reforms, They saw the change of capital’s governance models as a blessing and took advantage of the dissatisfaction of the labour masses against the predatory Islamic regime of capital. This time was different. The workers, not even the youth of the working class, started the uprising. Mobile phone merchants and market traders were the ones who started it following the decision of the Pezizian government to cut the “preferential currency.” They took to the streets, and then the working masses, mostly young people, took to the streets, an event that seemed promising but was hasty. Soon, the Israeli genocidalists, the American fascist imperialists, the mercenary royalist thugs of Reza Pahlavi, spread out their confiscation tactics, and tried with all their might to take control of the uprising train. Each played a role in his own way. Trump made a fuss about “the American relief force on the way.” The unearthed “brainless Shaban”, the heir to the SAVAK, began mobilizing protesters towards military and police centres. Dissidents within the government and the Mossad’s influence reported the ups and downs of events to their Israeli masters using advanced digital techniques. The ruling fascism of America fell in love with the Kurdish nationalist coalition and promised to send weapons. On the other side of the story, the predatory Islamic regime of capital monitored everything and counted down the minutes to start the story, shedding a flood of blood from the protesting workers. The rebellious working class soon felt the pressure of these attacks, encroachments, confiscations, and repressions on its campaign chest. All of this happened in a situation where the labour movement had no preparation, fertilization, preparation, or anti-capitalist organization. Consequently, its only role and work was to be a bomb of discontent floating on the streets. The heralds of salvation and the guardians of the class also use trumpets, websites, and mass media to create a symphony of overthrow in diverse orchestras and perform the ritual of leadership!!
In the midst of these blackness’s, the agents of Mossad and Israel moved. They assigned their royalist mercenaries and influential agents to take control of affairs, determine the type of slogans, and direct the protests. As more and more rebellious masses came, they chanted slogans of support for the germ of hatred, Reza Pahlavi. They encouraged the rebellious to attack police stations, instigated militaristic clashes between the hungry, angry discontented, and the forces of repression of the Islamic regime for their own benefit, and put into practice the evil plan of “the poison of the side that is killed is the benefit of Islam.” A plan that, given the conditions of the masses’ burning, actually worked. The predatory and genocidal Islamic regime, which had the whole affair under its microscope, entered the field with the greatest killing force, eager and equipped. The events of January 9 and 10 took place. Both capitalistic blocs, the Islamic regime on one side, the fossil crews of Israel, America, and Reza Pahlavi’s thugs on the other, began to slaughter tens of thousands of deluded protestors and, to some extent, took each other’s lives. An incident that was unprecedented in this form and with this combination in the history of the Iranian labour movement.
The above facts may raise the suspicion that the role and power of the working class, especially the youth of this class, the explosive anger resulting from their dissatisfaction in this weak rebellion, the involvement of governments and their octopus-like workers’ forces in deceiving the subordinates is too great, and the whole picture with these important flaws is completely misleading!!. The truth is the opposite of this idea. First, the role and power of the working class is not measured by the scale of its uprisings. Both the nationwide movement leading to the Bahman 57 (1978-79) uprising and the “Arab Spring” in the Middle East and North Africa countries were expressed with the flesh, skin, and blood of the working class and became widespread, but the Islamic Republic, Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, ISIS, Boko Haram, and Fajr Libya were born. The criterion for judging the role played by the labour movement is the degree of conscious soviet organization, its anti-wage labour. Even the self-willed class-based anti-capitalism of the workers is no cure in the absence of this criterion.
It does not prevent the working masses from actively changing the governance models of capital, becoming a platform for the rise of fascism, it does not prevent workers from joining the “MAGA”, “A. F. D.”, “S. D.”, it does not prevent their involvement with Trump and Netanyahu. What must be constantly shouted into the ears of the consciousness of the chained masses is not the sanctity of the flood exodus, but the danger of their uprising falling into the trap of gangs, parties, governments, and capitalist mafias. Only by doing this have we preserved the liberating power of our class and valued its true manifestation. What we witnessed in January 2026 was a scenario of the desperate, unwanted and in some cases, desired fall of the youth or a part of the working class as a whole into the trap of the most feared class enemies, the warmongering, the killing of humanity. Show us a saviour!! While fleeing from the atrocities, barbarities, and stormy genocides of the ruling class enemy. In all previous periods, if not the conscious anti-capitalist anger of the workers, then their protest against hunger, poverty, homelessness, imprisonment, torture, gender apartheid, and environmental pollution was the one that erupted and poured into the streets. This time, the working class and its youth were the bomb that was exploding, but they did not plan or direct the explosion themselves. The bourgeoisie began, Trump and Netanyahu, the architected networks of the Mossad, the thugs hired by Reza Pahlavi became the drivers of the protest car. Let’s look at the publication “Israel Hume”. “The Israeli rulers had the recent war on the agenda for (April 2026), they had it in their plans, but the start of the protest against the increase in the exchange rate surprised them. The Mossad focused on the large mass of disaffected youth and Pahlavi supporters. It tried to delay the street protests (the Deymah uprising) and then the military attack, because it believed that the disaffected masses were still afraid of the Islamic regime and that something had to be done. It pursued plans to further reduce this fear and feeling of helplessness. At the same time, Mossad began arming and training various groups, including Iranian Kurdish nationalist parties, with the aim of strengthening a political alternative. Through Netanyahu, it shared its plan with Trump and the CIA, making every effort to gain agreement from the White House and CIA chiefs, and it succeeded. (Quoted from BBC Persian) The BBC’s “Fact Check” reporter adds that “David Burna,” the scheming and calculating head of the Mossad, ordered that the film of the disabling of Iran’s air defences during the 12-day war be made available to the international media by his influential agents in the Islamic regime.
The work was an “unconventional disclosure” of secrets due to the risk of infiltrating mercenaries being exposed!! But “the head of Mossad saw this disclosure as a necessity for the success of the plan to launch protests and then start a war”. He wanted to make the Islamic regime vulnerable, reduce the fear of the masses, strengthen their belief in the support of Israel, America, and strengthen their hope for victory!! It is worth considering that “Barna” and the Israeli government, in their conflict with the predatory Islamic regime, monitored the Achilles’ heel of the discontented masses ready for rebellion, and provided psychotherapy!!, in preparation for the collapse of their fear of starting a rebellion!!, but labour activists, the pretenders to the leadership of the working class liberation movement, instead of trying to challenge the obstacles to the rise and organization of an anti-capitalist council of this movement, are nailing the basis for the possibility of such a thing and one after another stamping the seal of “impossible”. Netanyahu and Mossad did not despair upon seeing the workers’ fear of raising the banner of overthrowing their opponent. They did not whisper the impossible, they resorted to solutions and prepared to seize the storm of workers’ protest. In the camp of labour activists, the standard-bearers of working class liberation, the very idea that the inevitable struggle of the workers’ day in the field of livelihood, freedom, realization of basic human rights, against gender apartheid, environmental disasters can and must adopt a demand, expectation, solution, strategy, and a growing orientation against wage slavery is considered heresy and its proponents are presented as a bunch of dreamers.
The report of “Israel Hume”, “BBC Fact Check” or other capitalist media can and usually is accompanied by a mountain of deceptions, special purposes, false addresses, but what clarifies the occurrence of the scenario under discussion is not only these. The fabric of events, the process of the uprising, the direction, the strategies and the chain of events of the days of 10-12 of January, comparing them with previous uprisings and uprisings of the working masses, all told the story of falling into the trap of an uprising that undoubtedly had no other source than the pressure of hunger, the severity of capitalist exploitation, homelessness, gender apartheid, poverty, unemployment, lack of water and other misery created by capitalism, but it was stolen without getting off the ground. In the uprising of November 2019, we saw those hungry and discontented workers in many places, specifically “Qala’ Hassan Khan”, went to chain supermarkets. They began to take out food, the necessities of life to feed their hungry children. They distributed refrigerators, cooking machines, washing machines, and household appliances to workers who did not have these facilities. Everything they did was an attack on property rights, the cycle of capital circulation, the recapture of an invisible drop from the seven raging seas of their own produced surplus values. In some cases, they spoke of occupying empty houses. They spoke of the empty workers’ councils, but this time, “In place of harps and flutes, there is the sound of ravens and crows.” The ominous and hateful slogans, “Long live the Shah,” “Pahlavi is coming back,” and the kind of nonsense that evaporated from people’s throats and poisoned their breathing space. Instead of the rebellious rebellion of self-proclaimed anti-capitalism and taking a sip of the unpaid work of successive generations, they began to stab each other in the field to settle accounts with the murderous staff of the Islamic regime. Everything lost the colour and flavour of a spontaneous workers’ rebellion. Were the workers the ones who chanted the above scandalous slogans?! Of course, most of them did not do this. The problem here is that the working class and the raging youth protesting in the streets, even in the past, did not control their rebellion as much as the January 1996 and November 1998 uprisings. The earthquake of hunger, apartheid, poverty, deprivation and the misery born of capitalism, imposed by the capital-grabbing Islamic rulers, drove them to the streets, but they quickly fell into the trap laid by the Zionist Holocaust-makers and the American fascist war-mongering genocidalists. The open and hidden class enemy took over the cause of their protest. More painfully, on a level, even if not extensive, they said about the disloyalty and breach of promise of the trappers!! Here and there they lamented in a hideous manner that Trump had left them alone!! There are many and much more signs than these. Since the day of its establishment, the entire door, wall, ground, sky, tables, and lawns of Tehran University have been shrouded in the resounding cries of anti-monarchy, anti-American and Israeli governments, the blood of students protesting the sinister entry of the “Nixons”, but we saw that in January 2026, passionate slogans against the Shah were replaced by the hated roar of the Shah!! Again, do not misinterpret. The overwhelming majority of the rebellious protesters in the universities and streets did not agree to hear these howls, but they did not rise up to oppose them either, they did not take the command to lead the rebellion from them, they remained indifferent, perhaps some even repeated them and turned around in the tunnel they dug. They were given the opportunity and permission to exert their control over the ongoing rebellion, to exert their influence.
What happened in the “Dimah 1404, Jan. 2026” in the Iranian labour movement is a wake-up call for every worker, every activist who is suffering from this movement. The “Day” event was not just a story of the workers’ escape from the conscious anti-capitalist struggle. It did not simply demonstrate reformism and capitalism stemming from a low level of knowledge. It went beyond these. The story of this disaster became that the workers, lacking a solid Council unity against wage slavery, with the passage of time, the continued dissolution in the structure of the capital order, spinning in the orbit of arrangement, and the refinement of wage labour relations, would fall deeper and deeper into ruin and collapse every day than the day before. If in one period they were the dark army of the people’s anti-imperialist army, in the next period they would become the refuge of the most cruel, genocidal octopuses, the most despicable and brutal, the fascist imperialists-capitalist to get rid of the evil of “anti-imperialist”!! created by their own “revolution”. If once they were the prey of the Islamic desert giant, the abomination of the capitalist empire, from the evil of the regime to the bone marrow, now they are reaching out to Mossad and the CIA, Netanyahu and Trump to escape from the clutches of the same predatory giant. Blood must be shed over this process. Blood shed, whose earthly interpretation for labour movement activists is to march, shake hands with each other, be more aware, more planned, in the depths of the ongoing struggles of the chained masses, and elevate these struggles to a nationwide organized movement and a council against wage slavery. It is two centuries too late for this, but now we are faced with conditions that speak of the destruction of tens of millions of working people in the burning hell of Iranian capitalism. Reformism, democracy and the capital-hungry civil movement, the clamour and fuss about changing regimes and governments with the presence of the “third force”!! has reached its historical end. The result in this hell is the risk of chain death due to lack of medicine, hunger, and displacement of millions of children and elderly working class people. A significant percentage of workers have lost the means to buy bread. 55% of them are tenants and are unable to pay their rent. Unemployment is rampant, they do not have money for medicine and treatment. There is no hope of survival before them. In the 100-year history of their struggles, they have not lifted a single stone on top of a stone to build their class power against wage slavery. They are empty-handed, with a valley under their feet, captives of an earthquake. If they do not organize themselves against wage slavery and do not strive to elevate their current movement to an organized anti-power above the power of the capital octopus, they will have no other fate than to beg and plead with the Zionist and imperialist genocidalists and beg for survival from them!!
