“In the city of 200,000 people, 300 were killed in Izeh, 800 in Rasht, over 20,000 people were killed throughout Iran, they shot everyone, they unleashed a flood of blood in the cities, whatever is said about the number of people killed is less than the real figure, the number of injured is several and perhaps several dozen times the number of people killed, over several tens of thousands, most of the injured cannot be treated and will be disabled for life. As for the number of people who fell into the dungeons under torture, suffice it to say that “human rights” have so far identified 25,000 people by name and description.” These are the fragmentary words of people who were eyewitnesses to the events on just two days, January 8 and 9, broken and anxious phrases that they have transmitted to their acquaintances abroad in the intervals between the interruptions and resumption of telephone conversations about war and escape. Instant raids on homes, wave after wave of arrests of anyone suspected of participating in the protests, filling prisons with protesters, executions, executions, drawing up the longest lists to send prisoners to the firing squad, promises to repeat the 1967 massacre, confiscating the wealth and possessions of grieving families in exchange for the bodies of their loved ones, forcibly forcing them to sign the shameful membership document of the deceased in the “Basij”, and many other atrocities have been committed and are still being committed to this day.
It goes without saying that the above crimes were committed directly by the Islamic capitalist regime with the aim of preventing the collapse of its foundations of rule. This is true, but it is not the whole story. This Nazi-Islamic genocide, in addition to the direct and terrifying role of the Islamic Republic, had two other effective partners, and was carried out by a triangle of inhumanity. The US-Israeli governments, the royalist hogs, also provided the necessary equipment to make the genocide more terrifying for the killing forces of the Islamic Republic. Do not misunderstand, the monarchists and the US government bringing firewood for the regime’s genocide does not mean their role in the uprising, the pouring of the rebellious masses into the streets. They did not have such a capacity, they do not have such a capacity. The nationwide uprising of workers, the youth of the working class in its conception, development, and growth, as always, was a story of their explosion under the tremendous pressure of exploitation, gender apartheid, lack of rights, deprivations born of capitalism, and the imposition of these scourges by the Islamic regime. There is no doubt about this. Workers have been fighting, rebelling, and rising up against the terrifying exploitation and forced misery of capitalism and its governments, not just in January of this year, but throughout history, and will continue to do so. In the recent period, there have been 3 to 6 thousand strikes, several riots, weekly protests by pensioners, telecommunications, oil and gas, iron and steel, nurses, teachers, and students every year. Working-class families were protesting. Just a few months ago, they stood up in support of the pensioners’ struggles, and the pensioners also shouted that they stood by their student children. The pensioners combined their livelihood demands with cries for the release of prisoners, against the death penalty, and the demand for freedom and human rights. All of these campaigns have been ongoing and have had nothing to do with the role-playing of the monarchist beast or the genocidal government of the United States. All of this is assumed.
The point that needs to be emphasized and given sufficient attention is not these clear facts, but the destructive and criminal role of the other two sides of the genocide triangle, namely the Trump administration and the hated royalist scavengers alongside the Islamic Republic, the basis of this triangle of killing. The royalists, observing the raging flood of anger of the masses, especially the young generation, crept more and more viciously into their street campaigns. With sufficient preparation, equipped with Israeli digital and non-digital weapons, the Americans entered the ranks of the rebellious youth. They used all the tricks, including pumping out hateful cries of “Pahlavi is returning”!!, preparing the necessary grounds for a more brutal attack by the repressive forces on the protesters, killing more and more young people, children, women, and the elderly, and derailing the angry masses from the anti-capitalist and anti-capitalist government campaign. Although they did not constitute a force, by taking advantage of the scattered, disorganized, and horizonless situation of the labour movement on the one hand and the explosive discontent and anger of the youth on the other, they succeeded in firstly taking the movement further away from its true class track, and secondly, opening the way for the Islamic regime to carry out ever more horrific killings of protesters. In unison and in conjunction with the role played by these mercenaries, Trump and the hordes of genocidal fascists in America also spared no effort to destroy and destroy the movement. Whatever they blared on their trumpets was giving permission to the genocidal executioners of the Islamic Republic to carry out the terrible killings of the rebels and spreading the poison of doubt and confusion among the protesters.
The regime was definitely the base of the genocidal triangle, but any downplaying of the role of the other two sides of the triangle is like throwing acid in the eyes of the workers. Let us repeat again, to avoid any misunderstanding, that we do not mean that the workers are influenced by the words of Trump or the royalist mercenaries. The discussion about the struggle of this group to give permission for bloodshed at the hands of the Islamic rulers of capitalism, there is one more fundamental point. Some will ask: does the religious fascism of capital need a license to launch floods of blood? It is a valid question, but the answer is also clear. The Islamic Republic has not been and is not preparing to receive a license for genocide, but firstly – it eagerly welcomes the fact that its competitors provide it with the necessary tools, with the help of these tools it deceives the masses until the eyes are opened, the brainwashing market heats up the more gullible. Secondly – the discussion is not about the Islamic Republic at the moment. The focus here is on the other two sides of the genocidal triangle. What these two sides demonstrated was helping the Islamic Republic escalate the massacre of workers in order to further its inhumane, fascist goals. This is a point that should be pondered by the disobedient protesters, and especially by the youth of working-class families.
The working class must make the revolt another mirror for learning the lessons of class struggle. A page that, like all other pages in the history of this struggle, shouts and sounds the alarm that for any reduction in the pressure of capitalist exploitation, for any challenge to the deprivations of livelihood, treatment, welfare, legal, and social created by the wage slavery system, for the repelling of any crime, oppression, murder, and libertarian killing of the capitalist state, an organized anti-capitalist Soviet movement must be established. A movement that is a manifestation of the working class’s fieldwork for a victorious campaign against the calamities born of wage slavery in all areas of social life. A historical, class, social, and human question is before all of us. How long are we going to be wandering astray?! Falling from one well to another?! How long do we want to pour into the streets under the pressure of hunger, lack of shelter, lack of water, lack of electricity, deprivation of medicine, treatment, and a mountain of other miseries without any horizon, roadmap, campaign strategy, or considered immediate and future demands, and pump our anger into the air, satisfy ourselves by chanting this and that empty slogan, be shot, be defeated, and return to our dark and gloomy heap, having lost everything, being humiliated, and grieving??!! This is the most vital question facing tens of millions of the working class of Iran. It must nail each of us, force us to think, drive us together, force us to consult, and take action to find a solution?? How many generations of our class must be sacrificed before we think and enter into a dialogue around this question, giving a clear anti-capitalist answer to it?
Even now, the merchants of death, position, power, and government on one side, and the worshippers of democracy on the other, are arguing that the war of democracy is not a holiday!! It demands blood, it demands more victims, blood must be given, it must be sacrificed. In the observation tower of this diverse community, the masses of workers are born to be the agents of their democratic establishment!! But democracy is not a cure for the pain for billions of workers on earth. It does not reduce the ocean of poverty, hunger, nudity, homelessness, gender apartheid, deadly environmental pollution that is piled on their heads or their catastrophic deprivation of medicine, treatment, water, electricity, real freedom, and true human rights. The mountain of their problems does not diminish by going to the ballot box and bringing one party of capitalists to power instead of another. Taking to the streets to overthrow a government, a capitalist model of government, and bringing in another capitalist model of government has not only not untied a knot in their many tragedies but has made these tragedies more terrifying. Democracy is a deception of individuals, parties, and forces from the capitalist class or those who are deluded by capitalism, who do not suffer from hunger, poverty, unemployment, homelessness, homelessness, deprivation of school, doctors, or medicine, and their only problem is the lack of a party, office, or platform, sufficient field authority to demand a share in the power structure of capital, a greater share of the explosive exploitation of the working masses. These are the ones who are always, everywhere, trying to seize the power of the workers’ struggle and make it a conveyor belt for their transfer to the throne of power. Their desire for democracy is nothing other than a struggle between two rival and hostile parts of the capitalist class over how to exercise sovereignty and impose the criminal exploitation of capitalism on the workers. For this reason, their twisted version of democratic movements, without exception, is a single-handed hounding of the most hated beasts, such as monarchists or the genocidal governments of Israel, America, or any other state.
The gap between what they seek and what the workers want is as deep and endless as the existence and non-existence of the system of slavery. The working class has historically fallen into the trap of the deceitful democracy-seeking, the tongue-twister of their rule-seeking, their desire for share, has completely fallen out of the real field of class struggle, has lost the track of the anti-capitalist campaign, has been increasingly brutally suppressed, has been the target of the most terrifying genocides, has suffered defeat after defeat, has become humbled and disappointed, its level of expectations has been lower every day, it has become more and more insignificant and empty, and today, not only in the capitalist hell of Iran, but throughout this hell of filth and blood, it is more desperate, more oppressed, more humiliated, more defeated than in all the previous days of its life history. Let us repeat our above or usual question, how long, how far, to what limit is this situation going to continue??!! Isn’t it time that we consciously, vigilantly beat the chests of all bandits on the path of our class struggle, and with a awake worker’s head, enthusiastically, loudly and determinedly shout that our war is fundamentally, essentially, in all aspects, in all areas of life, in the areas of livelihood, welfare, social and political freedoms and rights, anti-apartheid, environmentalism, a war against capitalism and every capitalist state. Alive and present, with a firm will, we want to remove food, clothing, housing, medicine, treatment, education, water, electricity, gas, internet, transportation, entertainment, travel, all the basic necessities of a needless life from the control of capitalist commodity and monetary exchange. We absolutely prohibit any kind of government interference in every corner and every part of human life, from clothing, common life, relationships between men and women or girls and boys to belief, culture, ethics, traditions, customs, political activity, etc. We will abolish housework and replace it with social services outside of any form of monetary exchange. We will stand in the way of any form of human execution. We will make dismantling the foundation of the existence of any government above our heads the order of our campaign. We will free all prisoners and lead the way to dismantling the existence of prisons. We are aware and aware that for any degree of fulfillment of these expectations, we must organize a council, anti-capitalist, nationwide. We will be ready to disable the cycle of work and capital production. We will challenge the economic, political, and capitalist order. Let’s seize the empty houses of capitalists and give them to the homeless.
Let us take the work centers out of the hands of the capitalist class and under the control of workers’ councils capable of planning free from wage slavery. Let us seize all the chain stores and make them distribution centers without any trade for the basic needs of the population. By establishing this organized council movement, let us block the way for any force of deceitful labour, mercantile power, such as the hated monarchists or predatory capitalist governments, to penetrate into us. Let us rush forward, become stronger, more aware, more anti-capitalist, and set about establishing a society of people free from wage slavery, classes, and the state.
