Tom Barak, the US envoy, openly admitted:
“The SDF’s mission as the main force fighting ISIS in Syria has ended; the Syrian central government has signed the agreement to fight ISIS alongside ninety other countries. We no longer need the SDF’s help to protect the Syrian water dams and oil refineries. The central government will take on this important task itself. The SDF forces can enter the fire of Syria individually. Quote from me.
And with the end of this mission, the basis of America’s partnership with this force will also change.”
And this one sentence above is enough.
Not for analysis, but to collapse years of lies!
With the defeat and destruction of the aspirations of the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces), those who dream of the so-called “freedom and democracy” in servitude and dependence of a part of global capital and who were wagging their tails to welcome them should be left behind.
The recent issue in Syrian Kurdistan should, more than anything else, make every person think, if only their petty interests allow them to think so.
The disarmament of the SDF by the ISIS government in Syria, of course with the support of the US, Turkey, etc., is not just the burial of a tried and tested project in the region and the world, but rather the death of a grand illusion of the bourgeois leftists who declared Kobani to be the Paris Commune of the present day, and those who considered this project to be in the service of a part of global capitalism, especially “America,” and who criticized this project, faced the blows of these supporters of the “Paris Commune of the present day.” This childish and foolish fantasy that America embraced the same master who nurtured the SDF from day one and sent it into the field on its behalf will remain by its side until the end of the line. But history has shown that capitalism has no friends other than its own interests, and as long as capitalist relations prevail, this reality has been and will be the same.
Capital, and especially America, has no “comrades”; American capital knows only the profit of capital. And humans, for America and any other capitalism, are only the ruler of the tool, and this tool, when its expiration date has passed, is thrown without any shame or compliments into the dustbin of history; next to other mercenaries. And the good-natured dinosaurs in the museum of history to learn and learn from the experience of humans and history. This is the natural end of every lowly agent; which all the movers and shakers of every part of global capital, whether monarchist, reformist or bourgeois leftist, with any dress and name, should pay attention to, that when their expiration date has passed, neither years of service will save it. Neither the umbrella of international support nor the promises and applause that it thought were a guarantee of survival.
What happened to QSD today is neither an exception nor a coincidence, this is the usual scenario of global capitalism and America is no exception; a repetitive show that has been performed over and over again without any shame or any cover with different actors. They are doing their usual work, the problem is us and our illusion and lack of learning from our human and historical experiences. Similarly, America abandoned its mercenaries in Afghanistan; it left them hanging under the wings of airplanes.
Similarly, Bashar, when his expiration date was over, was sent to the dustbin of history like many others.
Similarly, Hosni Mubarak, Mohammad Reza Shah, Reza Shah, and many others were thrown away like old rags after decades of servitude, without any introduction. Years of service did not save them either. This is not a special situation of a specific case; rather, it is a fixed rule in the logic of capitalism and domination. And this fate is always the share of those who, instead of relying on their own class, rely on capital and outside their own class. And they imagine that Washington, China, and Russia are the “creator and savior.”
This is a clear lesson of history for us and anyone who has not been blinded by petty and immediate interests. Whoever joins hands with the occupiers, global and regional criminals, and capitals, will have no other fate than this. They will have nothing but humiliation, humiliation, and further defeat. Whoever builds his building and movement on a foreign stick will fall at the first bend of history.
And whoever stands against working people and those who exploit their labor force and leans on their enemy, “capital”, will fall face down when that stick is drawn.
Real defeat is not the defeat of weapons. It is the defeat of “choice”, and the choice of betrayal always has the same end. Even if the names change and the plans take on a new colour.
And this truth will be repeated over and over again. The institutions are not freed by dependence on America or any other capitalist power; they are not built by borrowing from foreigners. We will not achieve human liberation except with an independent will and by relying on our class power and anti-capitalist struggle, which is not for sale.
History is cruel. Those who make capitalists and capitalist relations their master’s will fall at the same turn.
